You hear a lot these days about the huge manly trucks on the road. All the commercials are geared toward rugged and rough driving. But, women drive cars also. What do women look for on the road? Do you think you know? Well here are some things that women have stated they want in a car. These are the things you will not hear very many commercials for.

So what do women want in a car? Well here are five of the things women have stated that they look for when searching for an automobile.
- Gas mileage
- External appeal
- Reliability that the vehicle has
- Comfort inside the automobile
- The quality of the make and model
As you can see, these features that all of us want. They really do not differ among the sexes. The order of the list may, but overall everyone seems to want the same thing.
What Cars Do Women Choose
This question changes by the age of the women. When women start out driving they tend to look for something more affordable and safe. This often comes in the form of a Nissan Versa or a smaller Toyota. But the likes and dislikes kind of changes over time. When women find they are getting ready to have a family, they tend to opt for more of a minivan or a sports utility vehicle.
What Features are Important
Studies show that a woman really puts safety first. They look for the airbags, and seatbelt protection. Instead of the “manly” features, a woman opts for safety. Maybe men should take a cue from them and look more towards the safety then anything.
Cars are not often associated with women like they are with men, but women have some very specific wants and needs when it comes to cars. They have shown just as much of an interest in cars as men have, but that often times may go unnoticed because of the manliness that one thinks of when they think of certain cars.
