Scion I Wished I Owned and Why
The other day I was sitting around with my friends when the topic of automobiles came up. My friends started talking about the new line of automobiles set to be released. A buddy of mine is a big car person, and knows a lot about every type of automobile dealer there is out on the market. He just recently purchased a used Scion for one of his children as their first car. He turned to me and asked me how much I know about cars, and I responded “a good enough amount”. He then asked me which Scion car I would own and why. I did not have an answer for him, but I went home and researched it and this is what I came up with.
2005 Scion tC
If it is up to me then I usually default to used cars. It is a much cheaper option which can save you a lot of money down the road. Looks are not very important to me, because I just need something to get me from point A to point B, but for the purpose of this exercise I judged off look first. The 2005 Scion tC model has a perfect look for me. I’m not really a fan of the new “box shaped” cars, and the tC is anything but. I know the word sleek is tossed around a bit much these days, so I will opt to use the word smooth.
The look is of a car that is more expensive then it truly is, which is a neat thing. Plus, if I am going to buy a car then it is going to be a car that will be able to fit a good amount of people, as well as have trunk space. The tC can fit five people and has a trunk that is very roomy. Initially the 2005 Scion tC passed with flying colors, and it was time for me to look at the specs.
The Features
Like I stated earlier, I like used cars. This, however, does not mean that I like to sacrifice comfort and safety features. With the Scion tC you have the ability to get front, front side, and side curtain airbags. You also have solid anti lock brakes. I did not have to worry about safety at that point. This car tops out at 127MPH. I don’t know when I would ever go that fast but it was nice to see. I also like it when my car has the ability to go manual, because I like to feel like I am actually driving the car. The 2005 Scion tC fits my needs for that. Finally, you can get 30 miles to the gallon.
The 2005 tC is my choice of a Scion if I had to get one. I did not know much about the Scions before though. I was very impressed by the design of this car and it seems to fit my safety needs as well. I would have to tell my buddy that he made a good decision for his child’s car.
